Thank you for taking the time to visit my campaign site. After retiring from a very successful career in the credit union industry, and serving non-profits, I felt a continued desire and need to serve the public.
For the past 35 years I’ve been doing everything in my power to assist individuals, small businesses, as well as the communities I lived and worked in. I’ve witnessed the joy of a start up business as they achieve success. I’ve also been there when they’ve had to struggle under the weight of regulatory road blocks, or some other bureaucratic red tape that seems out of their control. I’m running for office because I want to be an advocate for the hard working people and small businesses in the 18th District. I absolutely understand that our world wouldn’t be a pretty place without some form of government regulatory intervention; my goal will be to identify areas where there has been government overreach and take action to remedy the problem. The individual and small businesses are the heart of our economic engine. We must help pave the way for their success.
It would be impossible for me to pledge a complete transformation of the government structure but what I can promise is that every decision I make will be made with a responsible and pragmatic mindset. And those decisions will always be made with our citizens firmly in mind.
