The Washington Food Industry Association has endorsed Larry Hoff for re-election for State Representative in Washington’s 18th Legislative District.
“I am truly grateful for the support of the Washington Food Industry association. In these difficult times we’ve all gained a new appreciation for all those who are involved with making sure the grocery store shelves are full and that food makes it to our tables. To have the backing of the WFIA is a special honor.“ , Hoff said in reaction.
According to their website, ” WFIA represents the grocery & convenience store industries. Our issues are very broad yet unique. Some of our issues include labor, transportation, food waste, sustainability, and taxes. The Association advocates the interests of the independent grocery and convenience store industries on state legislative and regulatory issues that could significantly impact the business operations of our retailer and wholesaler member companies. Our strength is in our members and WFIA represents unique and diverse members in every corner of the state.”
The Washington Farm Bureau has endorsed Representative Larry Hoff’s campaign for reelection to the State House of Representatives. The Washington Farm Bureau is a voluntary, grassroots advocacy organization representing the social and economic interests of farm and ranch families at the local, state and national levels.
“Whatever you’ve been eating lately – a farmer either grew it or raised it. Our farmers are a very important piece of the bedrock forming our society and their daily efforts should be applauded. I’m very proud to receive the endorsement of those hard working women and men.”, Hoff said in reaction to the endorsement.
On election night, the efforts of hundreds of volunteers and supporters culminated in an epic victory for the 18th district, position 2 seat in the State House of Representatives. I’m fortunate and humbled to be filling that role. Finding the words to properly thank everyone who helped me in this effort is a difficult task.
Being new to inside politics, it necessitated forming a team of professionals that helped guide me over the inevitable campaign speed bumps. Without their help, the campaign journey would have been treacherous. Thank you to the Team of 8 who stuck with me during the past 15 months. Your help will be impossible to measure.
And thanks to the many early supporters that had faith in me and my background. However, it is obvious that campaigns can’t run on faith alone. These early supporters understood that and stepped up to help in a big way.
Throughout the campaign, hundreds of additional supporters helped us gain the momentum needed to take us over the finish line. To all who gave of your time and resources – – thank you so very much.
To the teams of doorbellers and phone bankers – – we could not have done it without you. These teams were persistent and worked tirelessly to distribute our message. I can’t thank you enough for the hard work you offered generously.
To the 18TH District citizens who actually voted for me – thank you so much for your vote of confidence. I promise to uphold the conservative principles that we discussed on the campaign trail. And to the 18th District citizens who chose to cast their votes elsewhere – I pledge to be your representative as well and to listen to all sides of all issues.
Thanks again to everyone who played a part in the success of our campaign. I am absolutely looking forward to working hard for our 18th district and our state!
Tuesday will mark the end of the election season. This race has been a very long, hard, expensive race. But, I would do it all over again because I know how important this seat is to the State of WA. We have just a few days to make our case to the voter! Please encourage your family and friends to vote…and explain to them why it’s so important. This seat is so important if we are to achieve any measure of balance in Olympia. It’s no secret the Democrats want to create new ‘revenue’ by raising taxes and creating new ones, like a new state income tax. It’s even in their Party Platform, which they strive to enact. We can win! We just need to VOTE!!
Now it’s time to do your part! It’s time for you to exercise that sacred right that so many have fought and died for throughout our nation’s history. You need to VOTE! Regardless of how you feel about other races on your ballot, this race will likely impact your life and the lives of all Washingtonians for years to come. Imagine a state income tax. Imagine less oversight on the already out of control agencies that encroach on our daily lives. Imagine the same Democrat party, who has created the education crisis, continuing to put special interests ahead of our children.
Who votes and how we vote will determine the fate of our state.
I’m honored by your support and I appreciate your vote.
