The non-profit group Stand for Children has endorsed Representative Larry Hoff for re-election in Washington’s 18th Legislative District. According to Stand for Children’s website, “For more than 20 years, Stand for Children has advocated for better and equal education standards for all children by utilizing a strong three-pillared approach: Parents, Politics, and Policy. The effectiveness of this approach, coupled with organizing and empowering parents and community, has led to policy, legislation, election, and budget wins across our nine states.”
In reaction to the endorsement Representative Hoff said, “As a father and grandfather I understand how important it is that children receive the best possible education. Education benefits not just the child, but also the community. The founders of this state understood this when they wrote, in the state’s constitution, that it is the paramount duty of the state to educate its citizens. I am very honored to have the endorsement of Stand for Children.”
The Columbian newspaper has endorsed Representative Larry Hoff for re-election in Washington State’s 18th Legislative District. Just days after The Columbian held its Editorial Board interview with both candidates, the Editors sided with Rep. Hoff saying, “In the 18th Legislative District race for representative, Position 2, there is a clear choice.” … “The Columbian Editorial Board recommends incumbent Republican Larry Hoff for the position.” In reaction Representative Hoff said, “I’m pleased that the Editorial Board of the Columbian understands that the Legislature needs fiscally sound voices to help lead us out of the challenges that Washington faces.”
The Washington State Retail Association has endorsed Representative Larry Hoff for re-election to the State House of Representatives in Washington’s 18th Legislative District. Per their website, “the Washington Retail Association (WR) is the state’s only association exclusively dedicated to advocating the unique interests of retailers on legislative and regulatory issues. Its reach includes federal, state and local governments, especially Seattle, which increasingly has been setting legal trends for the rest of the state. WR represents more than 4,000 storefronts statewide that range from large national chains to small shops. Our members include wholesalers, dealers, professional services and mall owners and operators. Though a unique state association, WR maintains numerous partnerships with like-minded associations and chamber of commerce across the state and nation.” “In recent months we’ve all learned just how important our local retailers are to us as we go through these uncertain times. We rely on them for goods and essential services every day and now more than ever. The Washington State Council of Fire Fighters has endorsed Representative Larry Hoff for re-election to State Representative in Washington’s 18th Legislative District. Hoff was informed of the endorsement by letter, from Council President Dennis J. Lawson. “I am extremely honored and humbled to receive the endorsement of the Washington State Council of Fire Fighters. Today all we have to do is look outside at our smoke filled skies to gain an appreciation of how important our fire fighters are to towns, cities, and State. We pray for their safety and swift victory over the current fires that are burning across the western United States.”

The Washington Hospitality Association has endorsed Larry Hoff for State Representative in the 18th Legislative District. In a letter to Hoff the Association said, “On behalf of the member s of the Washington Hospitality Association, we are pleased to formally endorse you for election to the Washington State House of Representatives. We recognize your commitment and service to your community, district and the hospitality industry in Washington State.” “I am grateful for the endorsement by the Washington Hospitality Association. They represent a section of the business community that has been hit hard by COVID-19 restrictions. Roughly 200,000 employees in the Washington hospitality industry are out of work. They need strong advocates in Olympia to help them stay on their feet and get back to as soon as possible,” Hoff said in reaction.
